Shawna Francis
I'm a dedicated and passionate esthetician and foot care professional with a focus on helping people reduce stress and improve their overall health. Growing up in Parry Sound, I was inspired to make a difference in the spa industry from a young age. After graduating from Fleming College's esthetics program in 2012, I continued to develop my skills even further by attending the North American School of Podology in 2013 for advanced foot care. I started at Perfectly Pampered in spring of 2014. I'm all about providing relaxation and comfort to my clients as well as helping them relieve tension and anxieties with my treatments. When I do have free time, I can be found enjoying nature - camping, atving, fishing and hiking - it all brings me peace and joy!
Angie McMinn
I'm a certified Esthetician and a true believer in taking chances. After graduating from Zehava School of Esthetics in 1999, I started a successful home-run business in Bolton and worked at Millcroft Inn and Spa in Alton, for many years, before I decided to take the plunge and follow my dream of living on Lake Manitouwabing. For 28 years I'd been visiting my best friend's cottage on Lake Manitouwabing. During covid, when the opportunity arose, I set off on this adventure with my husband and never looked back!
We sold our home in Bolton, left our jobs, and have settled into an amazing new home here in McKellar on Lake Manitouwabing; I was able to find work doing what I love most - providing pampering beauty treatments. Amidst everything that has happened since the pandemic started, I feel so grateful to have found a supportive family at Carolyn's spa and to have built meaningful relationships with each of my clients. It gives me comfort knowing that every time someone steps into my space they are leaving feeling nurtured and cared for!
Kate Alexander
I'm a passionate, creative esthetician and makeup artist with over 7 years of experience in the industry. My hubby and I moved here 3 years ago we fell in love with the rugged landscapes of Georgian Bay and Parry Sound. My journey started as a freelance makeup artist but I decided to go back to school for esthetics to expand my horizons even further. I thoroughly enjoy being able to perform an array of different services at the spa, but I remain particularly enthused by classic bridal makeup and unique nail designs. I also love to cook and eat so if you have a service with me be prepared to talk about food as cooking is one of my other passions!
Melanie Rand
Melanie has been providing massage and alternative therapies for the past 8 years. After surviving cancer treatments in 2014, she was inspired to pursue Reiki certifications Levels 1 and 2, as well as a comprehensive study of Reflexology. Through her Raindrop Oil Treatments and Ionic Foot Detoxes, Melanie helps others on their journey to greater wellbeing and relaxation. Recently, in September 2022, she made the move to Parry Sound to be closer to family while continuing her inspiring mission of helping others reach greater physical health and wellness through her raindrop therapy, ionic foot detoxes, reiki massage, relaxation massage, and hot stone massage.
Romana Svechka
I was born in Ukraine, and I’m bursting with passion for making others feel beautiful and confident. Since August 2015, I've owned my own successful beauty salon with 15 staff members. I specialize in a wide range of beauty procedures but I'm particularly fond of laser treatments and other advanced equipment.
I also have 6 months of work experience in Iraq. I pride myself on being able to provide professional personal consultations that help enhance natural assets and bring out people's true beauty. It truly brings me joy to transform someone's look and boost their self-esteem!
